ScienceLogic Appoints New Growth Lead for Australia and New Zealand

ScienceLogic, the leader in AI/ML-driven IT monitoring solutions, announced that veteran IT sales and operational management executive Richard Parker has been named Vice President and General Manager for Australia and New Zealand. In this role, Parker will lead the expansion of ScienceLogic’s Asia-Pacific footprint, a central pillar of the company’s global growth trajectory.

Parker is a skilled executive with a proven record of optimizing go-to-market (GTM) strategies, building and strengthening partner-specific alliances and leveraging nuanced insights into customers’ needs to produce key business outcomes. Based in ScienceLogic’s Sydney, Australia office, Parker will lead the company’s GTM efforts in Australia and New Zealand and strengthen ScienceLogic’s market share across the Asia-Pacific region.

Increasingly, organizations in Australia and New Zealand are turning to digital tech investments to support business transformation, capitalizing on a rapid surge in tech talent and integrating key lessons from the pandemic around the importance of digital infrastructure. Parker joins ScienceLogic after holding senior leadership positions with Capgemini and Unisys, where he was responsible for sales and business strategy within Australia and across the Asia-Pacific region which resulted in significant business growth. Most recently, as Vice President in Australia/New Zealand for Capgemini, Parker developed a GTM strategy for the business line that increased revenue by 50%+ over a 2-year period and delivered the fastest growing Service Management capability in Capgemini globally over the same period.

Parker is also a strong proponent of diversity and inclusion efforts in the workplace. While at Capgemini, he grew the diversity of the team he managed from 7 percent to 28 percent in 2021. He also served as Executive Sponsor for Capgemini’s Neurodiversity Employee Community Group to advocate for employees identifying as neurodivergent.
