Data mobility across on-premises and public cloud infrastructures is a top priority for today’s data-intensive businesses, who are working with globally distributed data sets that number billions of files and petabyte scale. A recent public and hybrid cloud research study from the Taneja Group reports that file-based data is the leading data access method for the applications that they plan to move to the public cloud. However, existing options for working with file-based workloads in the cloud have been limited by scale, performance and visibility into the data footprint. With QF2 on AWS, modern enterprises can meet high-performance requirements and leverage the elasticity of the cloud for new economies of scale.
