Tech Data Appoints Sammy Kinlaw Senior VP of Endpoint Solutions, AmericasTech Data announced it has appointed Sammy Kinlaw as senior vice president of endpoint solutions for the company’s Americas region. Kinlaw brings more than 20 years of experience in IT and distribution across multiple Tech Data vendor partners. In this role, Kinlaw is responsible for leading the relationships and strategic operations for Tech Data’s endpoint solutions vendors to ensure Tech Data continues to deliver higher value to its channel partners through an unrivaled end-to-end portfolio.

Kinlaw’s technology and distribution background has been consistently recognized in the industry, including being named among CRN’s “Most Influential Channel Executives” for the past five years. He joins Tech Data from Lexmark International, where he served as vice president of channel and OEM sales. Prior to joining Lexmark in 2018, Kinlaw spent 13 years at Lenovo, most recently as vice president, North America channel and U.S. SMB. He began his career with IBM with his last role being a business unit executive. Kinlaw holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
