ABBYY Relocates Global Headquarters and Recruits New Leadership to Accelerate AI Innovation and Customer Excellence

ABBYY is relocating its global headquarters from California to Austin, Texas, joining other leading tech companies like Google, Apple, Tesla, and Oracle in the region’s growing “Silicon Hills.” This move is part of a broader transformation, with new leadership talent and streamlined operations aimed at strengthening ABBYY’s position as a trusted leader in intelligent document processing, process intelligence, and intelligent automation.

The headquarters relocation comes at a pivotal moment for ABBYY, as the company continues to invest in the future of AI, bringing in new leaders and refining its product and customer operations. Hopeful Owitti joins us as Vice President of Customer Experience, bringing expertise from leading customer care at OutSystems. Nick Hyatt, formerly of Ionic, will also join as Vice President of Engineering, to strengthen ABBYY’s engineering and development efforts.
