AuriQ Systems Launches Patent Analysis AI with Free Tier for Inventors
AuriQ Systems debuts essentia.ai, a beta platform powered by LLMs to automate semantic prior art discovery, claim charting, and patent draft generation.
AuriQ Systems Inc. today announced the beta launch of Patent Analysis AI (essentia.ai), a web-based platform engineered to automate the most resource-intensive workflows in patent practice: semantic prior art discovery, claim charting, prosecution-history analysis, and structured initial draft generation. The platform features a dedicated free tier designed to support independent inventors and boutique intellectual property (IP) law firms. Built directly on a corpus of USPTO patent applications, grants, and prosecution history data, the tool utilizes advanced large language models optimized for patent document analysis.
“Patent analysis demands meticulous, time-consuming review of dense legal and technical text,” said Ko Ikudome, CEO of AuriQ Systems. “We have navigated multiple intense patent prosecutions and high-stakes litigations, so we know the pain well. Patent Analysis AI, developed directly out of our own experiences, changes the paradigm by replacing manual, labor-intensive analysis with a conversational, context-aware AI interface.”

The essentia.ai patent analysis AI ecosystem delivers three core functionalities:
1. Semantic Prior Art Discovery & Curation
Users input invention disclosures or technical concepts in plain language to generate relevancy-ranked results within seconds. Driven by advanced semantic search, the platform surfaces relevant prior art based on contextual meaning rather than direct keyword matching—ensuring critical documents are not missed due to varied phrasing or synonymous terminology. Results can be filtered by Cooperative Patent Classification (CPC), filing year, or examiner assignment, and compiled into secure, collaborative shared binders.
2.Conversational Analysis & Verifiable Claim Charting
Once documents are compiled within a binder, users can execute complex legal research queries using natural language. The system generates initial claim charts, side-by-side element-by-element comparisons of similar applications, and concise prosecution history summaries. Crucially, every AI-generated analytical response is strictly grounded in the underlying USPTO file wrapper history data and includes active, verifiable citations to minimize legal hallucination risks.
3.Guided Three-Step Draft Generation
A structured, three-step application builder guides users through disclosure collection, presents dynamically generated AI follow-up questions to uncover technical gaps, and outputs a formatted first-draft application. The generation engine produces standard specification components, including titles, technical fields, backgrounds, summaries, claims, and abstracts.
Rigorous Ethics and Legal Compliance Framework
Developed under close legal scrutiny, AuriQ Systems positions the platform strictly as an assistive workspace rather than an automated legal representative.
