A panel discussion on “Implementation of AI-Based Innovations” discussed how AI has the potential to transform healthcare, from improving patient care and safety to reducing costs and increasing efficiency. The panelists for the discussion included Fr. Johnson Vazhappilly CMI, Chairman, CAHO, Dr. Joy Chakraborty, COO, Hinduja Hospital, Mr. Sameer Wagle, MD, Asian Healthcare Fund and Mr. Nishant Jaiswal, Director, Nexus Day Surgery Centres and Dr. Vijay Agarwal, President, CAHO as the chairperson for the panel.

However, there does exist a gap when it comes to the huge number of innovations in the country and their adoption by end users. Part of the reason for such slow adoption is because in the healthcare sector, we’re dealing with human lives and the stakes are much higher, so there is a greater need for proceeding with caution.”
There was unanimous agreement among the panelists that AI-based Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) and Early Warning System (EWS) is the future of patient care and can significantly reduce mortality and morbidity. In addition, they believe that this technology can help doctors bridge the gap between primary and tertiary care by providing them with real-time data.
The meet attracted 70+ CXOs and top executives from leading healthcare institutions from across India. The speakers highlighted the growing challenges in the current healthcare landscape and how Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) and Early Warning Systems (EWS) can help CXOs enhance patient safety and drive higher efficiency to achieve healthcare equity.
