Withing hours of introducing new PaLM API and MakerSuite to accelerate generative AI development, Google Cloud has announced mega-upgrades to its existing machine learning platform– Vertex AI. The new upgrade now enable AI developers to take full control of their machine learning workflows and generate powerful results within minutes or hours. IN today’s world, generative AI has emerged as a go-to business capability for SaaS and app builders when it comes to delivering intuitive and scalable customer experience. Generative AI, powered by GPT-3 like models have ushered in a new wave of user-centric experiences that transcend beyond the usual boundaries of interaction and conversation. These are built on zillions of data points extracted from infinite number of interactions generating text, images, videos, codes and calls. What is Generative AI Support?

Users can now use Vertex AI to access Google’s LLMs and infuse new capabilities into their generative AI models. Generative AI support in Vertex AI brings in high-end customization across Google and non-Google machine learning and data science models. This is the best way to move forward in next-gen MLOps with Google Cloud’s far-reaching capabilities specifically designed for generative AI developers.

What is Generative AI App Builder?

Vertex AI would now allow machine learning developers to quickly text and establish new AI-powered experiences in real-time. Using Vertex AI, developers can gain access to PaLM API and build case-specific applications for content generation, chat development, classification and so on. This would be in a 100% flexible and scalable environment where developers choose their own data science techniques and AI ML models to create generative AI frameworks. Vertex AI has taken full cognizance of the data sovereignty and privacy that often inflict data science teams. It would also encourage open source contributors to have a larger say in the next steps of taking generative AI to higher grounds with Vertex AI and PaLM API models.
