Public portal gives customers visibility into ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, maintained security controls and progress toward a SOC 2 Type 2 report

Hurree, the human-first data analytics platform, today announced the launch of its Customer Trust Portal alongside its achievement of ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, the latest version of the international standard for information security management. Together, the milestones give current and prospective customers clearer, independently backed evidence of how Hurree protects their data as its platform, integrations and AI capabilities expand to offer a wider range of services to satisfy client needs.

Our robust Customer Trust Portal addresses the checklists customers bring to us. ISO 27001 answers one of the biggest questions on that list, and it’s the right thing to do as a tech company scales.”

“Achieving ISO certification is obviously great for our security profile but that should be considered table stakes for a company of our nature, given the world we’re building in. With so many people now loosely ‘vibecoding’ or creating software from their bedrooms, buyers are far more careful about the tech they bring in and its purpose,” said Aaron Gibson, CEO and Founder of Hurree. “Our robust Customer Trust Portal addresses the varied checklists customers bring to us. ISO 27001 answers one of the biggest questions on that list, and it’s simply the right thing to do as a tech company scales.”

The new portal brings Hurree’s security and compliance programme into one place. Customers can review the company’s ISO 27001 certification, see that work toward its SOC 2 Type 2 report is underway, and view the controls Hurree has put in place and continues to maintain across business operations, human resources, data and cloud security. Hurree’s certification followed an independent external audit covering how the company builds and ships its code, manages its infrastructure and maintains its internal policies.

As part of the same programme, Hurree conducts independent third-party penetration testing and continuously monitors its security controls rather than preparing only at audit time. The Customer Trust Portal gives customers greater visibility into that ongoing work, including controls covering encryption, production deployment access, change management, patch management and infrastructure security.

Hurree connects more than 75 business tools spanning sales, marketing, finance and customer support. Bringing information from those systems into one platform means that customer data from across the technology stack is protected under the same certified framework.

“Our customers trust Hurree with data from right across their business systems, from sales and marketing to finance and support and everything in between,” said Niamh Tohill, CTO at Hurree. “Achieving ISO 27001 certification means that trust is now backed by an internationally recognised, independently audited standard. Security isn’t a box we’ve ticked once. It’s built into how we design, build and run Hurree every day, and that matters more than ever as we bring more AI into the platform with Riva, our conversational AI assistant, which lets users ask questions of their data in plain language. It means one less question to ask when choosing Hurree, and confidence that their data is protected to a recognised international standard.”

Achieving ISO 27001 required changes across Hurree’s technology, policies and day-to-day operating practices, embedding security into how the team works rather than treating it as a one-off audit project. ISO 27001 is the first of several compliance milestones Hurree is working toward. With the SOC 2 Type 2 process already underway, the company will continue expanding the independent assurance and transparency available to customers as the platform grows.
