POET Technologies Announces Approval for Listing on The Nasdaq Capital Market

Trading to Begin Under the Symbol “POET” on Monday, March 14

POET Technologies Inc., the designer and developer of the POET Optical Interposer™ and Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs) for the data center and tele-communication markets, announced the Company’s common shares have been approved for listing and are expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market (“Nasdaq”) under the symbol “POET” on Monday, March 14, 2022.

The Company’s shares will continue to trade on the OTCQX under the symbol “POETD” until trading commences on Nasdaq, at which point the Company’s over-the-counter ticker will be retired and automatically replaced with the Company’s new Nasdaq ticker symbol “POET,” without any action required by shareholders. Additionally, the Company will continue to maintain its existing listing and trading symbol “PTK” on the TSX Venture Exchange both prior and subsequent to the trading of shares commencing on Nasdaq. For the avoidance of doubt, no action is required by existing shareholders associated with the Nasdaq listing.
