Seismic Spring 2023 Release Adds New Personalization and Generative AI Capabilities to Power Better Customer Experiences
Seismic, the global leader in enablement, announced its Spring 2023 Release which builds on Seismic’s leadership in AI-guided selling with new capabilities powered by Aura, Seismic’s AI engine. Launched in 2021, Seismic Aura deepens buyer engagement by capturing AI-driven content insights, streamlining the selling process, and helping sales leaders coach and improve their teams.
“Over two years ago, we introduced Seismic Aura, a first-of-its-kind AI/ML engine purpose-built to increase seller effectiveness, generate intelligent insights, and automate tasks. Since then, we’ve remained committed to investing in AI/ML capabilities across the Seismic Enablement CloudTM. Our Spring 2023 Release adds another layer to our larger AI vision in our platform and the broader enablement ecosystem with the launch of our integration with Microsoft Viva Sales,” said Krish Mantripragada, Chief Product Officer, Seismic. “Our customers are already reaping the benefits of Seismic’s investment in generative AI and use of large language models to get recommended answers to customer questions, and our vision is to continue to apply this valuable technology to touch every workflow across our platform.”

New data shows increased usage of personalization solutions
The Spring 2023 Release includes several new personalization and buyer engagement capabilities that address the need for greater personalization in customer interactions. In fact, a new Seismic report called The Personalization Payoff uncovered data illustrating how organizations are personalizing content and delivery methods when interacting with prospects across digital channels.
The Personalization Payoff analyzed how Seismic customers leveraged the Seismic Enablement Cloud during 2021 and 2022, specifically looking at the usage of certain personalization solutions and how buyers responded to them. The report found that personalization usage skyrocketed – and in tandem, buyer engagement increased as well. Notable findings include:

- Usage of Digital Sales Rooms (DSRs), which serve as hubs of buyer-seller interaction and personalized communication during a deal, increased by 187% year-over-year.
- Healthcare organizations created the most DSRs, followed closely by Industrial (Manufacturing, Energy and Utilities, Distribution) companies.
- Buyers responded positively to DSRs, engaging with them at nearly 3x higher rates year-over-year.
- Industrial and Healthcare buyers engaged with DSRs at the highest rates, respectively.
- Video continues to grow in popularity for seller-buyer communications. Reps heavily relied on personalized video to engage prospects in 2022 – 255% more than the previous year, to be exact.
