The introduction of the configuration co-pilot brings that vision to life, setting Labbit apart as the first LIMS to offer an AI-powered visual workflow builder. While other AI-driven workflow building solutions generate underlying code, Labbit’s co-pilot operates at the configuration layer like an expert user, delivering a collaborative experience that simplifies workflow creation and modification.
At the core of this innovation, is the powerful synergy of Labbit’s Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) workflow engine and an AI assistant. Users can either have a conversation with the assistant to describe their lab process, or upload vendor protocol definition documents, user requirements, files, images, or existing BPMN diagrams, instantly generating a visual representation of their lab’s workflows.
From this starting point, the configuration co-pilot serves as both a guide and a builder, transforming natural language input into fully configured workflows, including user interface, business logic, and calculations.
