Sound Ventures Closes Oversubscribed AI Fund, Announces Investments in Generative AI Leaders
Sound Ventures invests in category-defining artificial intelligence (AI) companies with first three investments in OpenAI, Anthropic & StabilityAI
Sound Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on investing in transformative technologies and exceptional founders, announced that it has closed Sound Ventures AI Fund, oversubscribed at nearly $240M. The fund seeks to invest in category-defining artificial intelligence businesses at the foundation model layer. The fund’s current portfolio includes OpenAI, Anthropic and StabilityAI. Sound Ventures is led by General Partners Effie Epstein, Ashton Kutcher and Guy Oseary and manages over $1B in assets across funds.
