Zappix Deploys Identity Management Capabilities integrated with Visual Self-Service Solution

Identity Management also called identity and access management (IAM), is the discipline for verifying users’ identity and the level of access allowed to a particular system. The main goal of identity management is to ensure that only authenticated users are granted access to the specific applications, systems, or IT environments for which they are authorized. Zappix has completed integration to Identity Management systems and provides an end-to-end solution for Visual Self-Service.

A MEF white paper, “Mobile Network Solutions for Identity Verification powered by Twilio,” found that businesses report that authenticating customers and prospects is one of their organization’s top priorities. Twenty-five percent (25%) of enterprises attribute most of their customer churn to issues with identity and authentication processes, with Fintech, Healthcare, and Ecommerce reporting even higher levels of related churn, according to that white paper.

An IAM system can also be used to deploy single sign-on (SSO) technologies. This can significantly decrease the number of passwords users need to remember. Combined with multi-factor authentication and enforceable security policies, enterprises can lower the risk of security breaches. The real-time integration allows Zappix to offer a fully integrated end-to-end self-service solution when users need to complete authentication before accessing personal data.

“Zappix’s goal is to make the consumer user journey when using Self-Service to be as successful and easy as possible. Integration with Identity Management systems is pivotal in improving that journey,” said Prakash Guggilam, Zappix CTO. “We are continuously looking to bring pre-integrated solutions to expedite the onboarding process and expand the capabilities of Zappix”.
