Privia Health Uses Kyruus’ Digital Patient Access Platform to Help Empower Consumers and Drive Practice Growth
Kyruus, the leader in provider search and scheduling solutions for healthcare organizations, announced that Privia Health is now utilizing the Kyruus ProviderMatch platform to help current and prospective patients more easily discover the Privia providers who best match their needs and self-book appointments on Privia’s website.
With approximately 2,700 providers serving three million patients across more than 700 care center locations, Privia Health sought a leading edge patient access solution to enable it to rapidly expand self-service offerings for consumers, while simultaneously reducing administrative work for providers. The team engaged Kyruus due to its leading technology platform, proven experience implementing at scale, and ability to facilitate direct online scheduling into Privia Health’s interoperable, end-to-end technology platform.

Privia Health started by building a centralized directory of its providers and locations in the KyruusOne platform to power its new consumer search experience. Kyruus’ clinical taxonomy allowed Privia Health to capture providers’ clinical areas of focus in detail, laying the foundation for its recent launch of ProviderMatch for Consumers. ProviderMatch is enabling Privia Health to offer an intuitive, dynamic search experience on its website, so consumers can more easily identify the providers who best match their needs and, in turn, providers can see more patients aligned with their expertise.
“Privia Health is focused on fostering a consumer-centered and physician-led care model and upgrading our online search and scheduling experience was an important step in streamlining access to our providers,” said Chris Voigt, Chief Technology Officer at Privia Health. “With Kyruus, we now have a scalable platform in place to keep expanding digital self-service in a way that boosts convenience for existing patients, while helping attract new patients to our provider practices.”

To further elevate its digital experience, Privia activated online scheduling within ProviderMatch, enabling both new and existing patients to view appointment availability and book visits seamlessly online. A direct integration with Privia’s EHR makes it so providers can surface open slots and capture the benefits of expanded consumer self-service without creating manual work for their practices on the back end. Privia Health has already activated online scheduling for nearly 1,200 providers, with plans to expand further in the coming months.
“Digital innovation is a must for any healthcare organization looking to accelerate growth and drive operational efficiency,” said Scott Andrews, General Manager, Health Systems at Kyruus. “Privia Health is designing a digital strategy to meet both patient and provider needs – while positioning the overall organization to scale effectively – and we’re proud to support them.”
