XP Health Expands Leadership Team and Appoints New Strategic Advisors

XP Health, the company creating the world’s first AI-powered vision benefits platform covering employees and their families, announced that it has expanded its leadership roster with seasoned industry veterans from leading insurance and vision care organizations to accelerate its mission to democratize access to high-quality, delightful experiences in vision care. XP Health hires Swen Carlson as VP of Operations, and welcomes new strategic advisors Kevin Hill, former Regional CEO of UnitedHealth, and Ken Goulet, former EVP of Anthem.

“Disrupting an industry that has seen minimal innovation over the last 20 years takes top talent,” said Antonio Moraes, CEO and Co-Founder of XP Health. “Swen, Kevin and Ken bring a wealth of knowledge and experience that will help XP Health do exactly that.”

Carlson joins XP Health as the former VP of Operations at VSP Vision Care. With over 30 years of experience in the vision benefits industry, he has worked in various roles within systems and product development and operations at VSP, both on the vision insurance and eyewear manufacturing sides. He has also served as a Program Creator, IT Director, and Claim Services Director.

Goulet and Hill join XP Health’s board of strategic advisors as the company continues to cater to customers while scaling rapidly to meet growth demands. Goulet brings over 30 years of proven experience in growing and leading large health plan organizations, and recently retired as the executive vice president of Anthem. Prior to XP Health, Hill was a Regional CEO of UnitedHealth Group and has experience as an advisor and board member to many healthcare and insurance companies including One Digital, HPOne, Friday Health Plans, and Capital Rx.
