Oculus Quest Launches Today, Delivering an Immersive All-In-One Virtual Reality Gaming Experience Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon
Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., a subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated , helps bring a new level of immersive VR experiences to consumers with the launch of Oculus Quest powered by Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 835 Mobile VR Platform.
The Snapdragon Platform meets the intense demands for a premium mobile VR experience. Oculus Quest taps into an industry-leading heterogeneous chip architecture to power high concurrency workloads including graphics processing, video decoding and encoding, and inside-out sensor tracking powered by the Oculus Insight computer vision algorithm. Oculus Quest makes use of incremental features like foveated rendering for high-quality and multiview graphics, high-resolution display and more.
