DeepMind Merges with Google to Accelerate Innovations in Artificial Generative Intelligence (AGI)

Google DeepMind is now a reality!

Google Brain and DeepMind are now singular entity. This entity is created with an intention to accelerate innovations in the field of artificial generative intelligence (AGI). As part of an internal development, Google Brain, Google’s AI research arm, has absorbed DeepMind into its hub to build new AI tools for digital transformation across the society. Leading data scientist Demis Hassabis will helm Google DeepMind’s management, building the most capable and responsible general AI systems to power Google’s next-gen products and services. In a recent article, KNIME’s Rosaria Silipo had written for our readers: “Despite huge strides and advancements with generative AI, there are still plenty of questions and uncertainties that remain.” Google could solve these questions!
