Blink Health Hires Former Compass & Microsoft Executive Eytan Seidman as Head of Product

Leading Pharmacy App That Offers the Lowest Prices on Prescriptions Announces Newest Member of Senior Leadership Team

Blink Health, the app that lets people get their prescription medication at much lower prices, announces that Eytan Seidman has joined the company as Head of Product. Over the course of his career, Seidman has led product development and successfully scaled engineering teams at renowned companies including Microsoft, Compass and TripAdvisor. He will play a critical role in growing the product team at Blink, which provides every American access to low prices on over 15,000 medications.

The appointment of Seidman is the latest in a series of world-class executive additions for Blink’s product, monetization, engineering and recruiting teams. In addition to Seidman, the company recently announced that Bharath Chinamanthur, Christopher Plambeck and Madan Nagaldinne  all of whom worked in critical roles at Amazon at various points in their careers — joined the company in senior leadership roles. Through the first half of 2019, Blink has also hired over 120 engineers and product managers.

Seidman joins Blink Health from Compass, one of the world’s fastest-growing real estate technology companies, where he served as Head of Product. In that role, Seidman more than tripled the company’s product team, hiring senior employees to lead product design, user research, product management and data analytics. Under his leadership, the company’s consumer platform grew from 500,000 to four million visits per month.

Prior to Compass, Seidman was an entrepreneur, co-founding Oyster.com, which he sold to TripAdvisor, after growing the site from launch to over two million unique visitors per month. At TripAdvisor, Seidman served four years as Vice President and General Manager, leading product management, design and operations. Seidman also previously served as Principal Program Manager Lead at Microsoft, where he built the company’s first-ever CRM product and served as product manager for the company’s search engine, Bing.
