Gridsum Co-president Michael Xu appointed as SEMPO International Ambassador

Gridsum Holding Inc. (“Gridsum” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: GSUM), a leading provider of cloud-based big-data analytics and artificial intelligence (“AI”) solutions in China, today announced that Mr. Michael Yang Xu, co-president of Gridsum, has been appointed as the International Ambassador of the Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization (SEMPO).

Established in 2003, SEMPO is a non-profit organization headquartered in Massachusetts, USA. Its mission is to serve the digital and search engine marketing community and promote the value and awareness of search engine marketing on a global scale.

SEMPO’s 2018 Board of Directors election was held on July 17, 2018. 15 members were elected to the Board, many of whom are from internationally renowned companies including Google, Microsoft, Thomson Reuters and Lego. The International Ambassador position is a newly created role at SEMPO, and Michael’s responsibility will be to promote professional development and foster interaction among members across the globe, keep them informed about the latest digital marketing trends.
