Logz.io Names Brian Cohen as Chief Financial Officer

Logz.io, the leading cloud-native observability platform for modern DevOps teams, announced the addition of Brian Cohen as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. Cohen, a Boston-based executive with a strong track record for building and managing high-growth, rapidly expanding global technology businesses, brings over 30 years of financial and operational leadership experience to the role. Cohen’s career spans both publicly traded and privately held technology and SaaS companies, and includes leadership across finance and accounting, corporate strategy, FP&A, people and talent, legal, operations, IT, investor relations and more.

Cohen joins Logz.io from BitSight Technologies where he served as CFO and helped spearhead the company’s growth of over 300% in three years. Prior to this, Cohen was the CFO for DigitalOcean, where he led an $83 million equity financing followed by a $180 million debt transaction and supported the 400% growth of the business during his tenure. Additional career milestones include leadership and management of numerous successful liquidity events, including the acquisition of Q1 Labs by IBM, Jumptap by Millennial Media, DynamicOps by VMware, and two different companies acquired by Cisco (one publicly-traded, and one privately-held).
