MulticoreWare Expands Its Offerings for ADAS and AD Vehicles’ Product Development Phases
MulticoreWare, Inc. announces diversification of its offering of system and software services to all phases of product development for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving (AD) vehicles by strengthening its engineering and marketing capability under a new business unit head.
MulticoreWare will enable their key expertise with a clear focus on automotive applications with ADAS and AD. Optimization of system level algorithms and safety and regulatory standards are essential to bring a project successfully into the market. Data and video processing deep learning, and cutting edge algorithmic development are also essential to finding a solution that balances performance, cost and time to market, and enables end customer functionality. A variety of computer platforms such as GPUs, DSPs and FPGAs are being tailored to the technical and system level problems that need to be addressed. Specifically, to process the wide array of sensor data collected from cameras, RADAR and LiDAR.
The newly restructured Autonomous Vehicles and Automotive (AVA) business unit will facilitate and consolidate these activities inside MulticoreWare’s development centers. This will support all stages during the development cycle from pure R&D to platform or launch driven activities while supporting both classical OEM initiated programs and new mobility solution providers.
Benjamin May, a globally recognized ADAS/AD expert, will now lead the MulticoreWare AVA business unit. With over 15 years of hands-on experience and expertise in ADAS/AD development, he has led numerous successful projects for all major OEM’s, leading Tier 2 and Tier 1 companies, and startups in Europe, Silicon Valley, Israel, and Asia. Benjamin’s system level thinking leverages MulticoreWare’s strengths to solve customer challenges.
