Three Hyper-growth Leaders Join Board of Directors and Board of Advisors for Censia, a Revolutionary Candidate Discovery Technology

Censia, the intelligent candidate discovery technology that companies use to break bias and hire the best candidates based on merit, today announced that Ron Storn, chief people officer at Zume Inc. and former vice president of people at Lyft, has been appointed to Censia’s board of directors. Additionally, Mark Leslie, founding and former CEO of Veritas Software and Alan Guarino, currently vice chairman of Korn Ferry, have been appointed to Censia’s board of advisors.

With almost two decades of talent acquisition and hyper-growth experience, Storn brings a wealth of knowledge to Censia’s board of directors and will look to help Censia’s platform for accessing the global talent pool while eliminating the human error and bias plaguing hiring today. As Zume’s chief people officer, Storn is defining how humans and machines will work together to transform entire industries. At Lyft, Storn oversaw the company’s growth from 80 employees to over 2,000, and personally engineered the development of Lyft’s unique corporate culture. Before Lyft, Storn led talent acquisition efforts at Facebook and Google.

With over 30 years of experience in Silicon Valley, Leslie is a disruptive startup technologies veteran. He is the former CEO of three Silicon Valley startups, including Veritas Software, where during his tenure as CEO, the company went from 12 employees to 6,000 employees and from annual revenues of $95,000 per year to $1.5 billion. Leslie currently serves on a number of high-tech startup and nonprofit boards. Leslie is a lecturer at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business, where he teaches entrepreneurship, ethics and sales organization.

As a vice chairman at Korn Ferry, a former chief executive officer and an experienced consultant working with corporate boards and executive teams to drive business and talent management strategies, Guarino has helped revolutionize the world of HR. Guarino is a successful entrepreneur who has founded and grown businesses in the staffing and executive search businesses. At Korn Ferry, Guarino has spent the last 10 years focused on the ever-changing technology world of fintech and the capital markets.
