Digital.ai CEO Derek Holt to Join Ai4 2026 Panel on Coding Automation and Enterprise Software Strategy
Holt will make the case that as AI slashes the cost of both building and attacking software, governance — not speed — becomes the deciding factor
Digital.ai, which helps the world’s most complex organizations deliver trusted software at AI speed, announced that CEO Derek Holt will join a panel at Ai4 2026 to discuss how coding automation is reshaping enterprise software strategy in the AI era. The panel, “Coding Automation is Here: How Leaders Are Rethinking Software Strategy,” takes place on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at the Venetian, Las Vegas. Holt will be joined by technology leaders from eXp Realty, Piper Sandler and Axiom Partners.

THE AI4 PANEL
Holt will push the conversation beyond speed and toward a harder question: as AI removes the speed limit on writing code, can organizations actually see, secure, and govern what’s being built? He’ll also raise a dimension often left out of the AI-in-software-development conversation — that the same efficiencies benefiting developers are available to attackers, changing the underlying economics of hacking itself.

That’s exactly backwards – AI doesn’t just make it cheaper to build software, it makes it cheaper to attack too,” said Derek Holt, CEO of Digital.ai. “In the AI era, governance is the difference between companies that scale safely and companies that get hacked or outpaced. THE AI4 WORKSHOP
Earlier in the week, Digital.ai software engineering leaders Ankur Trivedi and Anil Anaberumutt will host the hands-on workshop, “From Idea to Production: Governing Agentic AI with Adaptive Orchestration,” on Monday, August 3. Attendees will learn how to connect business intent to software delivery, apply governance throughout the development lifecycle, and unify deployment automation, testing, application protection and compliance into a single AI-enabled delivery process.
BLACK HAT USA 2026
Holt and Digital.ai executives will also be in attendance at Black Hat USA 2026 in the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, where they will meet with customers, partners, and media to discuss building secure software that protects enterprise applications from today’s evolving threats while accelerating software delivery with AI.
