Mystic River Consulting, a firm that specializes in Intelligent Automation (IA), has augmented its IA and RPA (Robotic Process Automation) capability with an acquisition of a Center of Excellence (COE). Mystic River Consulting is one of the only firms with an intact COE that has already deployed hundreds of bots at a client site, a feat that presents a challenge to the enterprise-wide world of process automation.

An effective Intelligent Automation COE scales far beyond technical development and requires alignment to business process through Business Analysts and Portfolio Managers. The investment is comprised of 11 Process Automation professionals and functions as a “plug and play COE” to jump-start a new customer program or to help existing COE’s hit scale in the RPA or IA disciplines. The addition of this team will augment the existing Mystic River RPA development team. The COE team is combined with a proprietary service delivery platform that contains a vast library of reusable code, integrations, best practice processes (e.g., a model SAP invoice reconciliation for Finance), multi-tenant service delivery, training and communications content, and more. Mystic River’s Intelligent Automation COE built hundreds of bots and automated 560,000+ hours of manual processes across Finance, HR, IT, Learning, Marketing and more.
