“We’re thrilled to be exhibiting at this amazing event that highlights the best in autonomous transportation innovations,” said Alberto Lacaze, president of Robotic Research. “We’re honored to have the opportunity to support both government and commercial customers in delivering lifesaving autonomous and driver-assisted technologies via a wide variety of applications. We look forward to giving the Xponential audience a firsthand look at some of the major innovations that we anticipate will help rapidly advance autonomy in transportation and move the industry forward into the future.”
The products Robotic Research is showcasing at AUVSI Xponential include:
- Olli – Robotic Research is partnering with Local Motors on Olli, the world’s first co-created, electric, autonomous shuttle. The slow-speed shuttle, which is being introduced in communities around the world, is on display and briefly demonstrated in Robotic Research’s booth during the show.
- Paralift – Robotic Research developed Paralift, a driver-assist, autonomous loading and securement system, to provide individuals with reduced mobility independent access to their vehicle. The capabilities of this automated wheelchair include voice commands, auto mobility and an automated lift.
- Drive-by-Wire ATV Display – Robotic Research will display a side-by-side vehicle for which the company has developed a drive-by-wire kit, which can be applied to virtually any vehicle of any size or purpose. The Robotic Research autonomy kit serves both commercial and DoD applications and can be integrated into other Robotic Research systems.
- Navigation System for GPS-Denied Areas – Robotic Research will showcase its RR-N-140 Navigation System that provides accurate, absolute and relative 3D (6 DOF) localization information for ground vehicles of all sizes. This device delivers exceptional localization performance in GPS‐denied or compromised areas. It is designed specifically for use on unmanned ground vehicles and is heavily customizable to incorporate a wide variety of sensor inputs into the navigation solution.
