Edgybees and HCL Technologies to Showcase Life-Saving Drone Technology at the 2019 World Economic Forum
Visual intelligence technology start-up teams up with next-generation technology company to demonstrate versatile augmented reality drone software to global leaders at Davos
Edgybees, a leader in advanced, collaborative, visual intelligence technology, and HCL Technologies Ltd., a leading global technology company, announced that they are hosting live demonstrations of Edgybees’ life-saving software enabled by DRYiCETM AIOps technology, as part of their participation at the World Economic Forum 2019 in Davos, Switzerland. The presentation is part of the HCL 2030 Ecosystem Platform, which will explore how humanity’s relationship with technology will evolve through the next decade of rapid innovation.
Edgybees and HCL Technologies are working together to showcase remote drone operations that impact societal resilience at scale, namely Edgybees’ intelligent video drone software application in search and rescue operations during flood emergencies driven by DRYiCE AIOps zero-touch automation of tasks and processes.

Overlaying data such as street names, individual locations, and key points of interest on real-time video footage, the solution provides context to emergency responders in critical situations. The unmatched perspective of a drone combined with the added overlay provides first responders improved situational awareness and open communication – vital components that can determine a successful first response scenario or search and rescue operation.
With this predictive technology, the drone solutions will be able to send real-time updates on the number of deployments possible in a single battery charge as well as inform on external factors while the drone is in flight.
