Ceros Achieves 900% User Growth on MarkUp Platform

Visual commenting platform reaches 50,000 users, one million platform comments amid pandemic

Ceros, an interactive SaaS design platform, announced that its visual commenting and collaboration platform, MarkUp, has experienced exponential growth since its January 2020 launch. In just one year, MarkUp has reached 50,000 users, a 900% increase since coming out of beta, and is on track to reach one million total comments by users on design deliverables within the platform by the end of Q1 2021.

MarkUp is built for graphic designers and marketing specialists but used across all departments, including sales, finance, product and operations. Whether teams are working on a new website, landing page, or creative asset, individual users can simply upload their content into MarkUp, place comments anywhere, and invite unlimited collaborators. MarkUp’s momentum builds as more companies extend remote work policies, furthering the need for unique ways to collaborate from anywhere in the world.

“While 2020 presented many challenges, a silver lining was the acceleration of digital transformation for countless organizations,” said Greg DiNardo, one of the founding MarkUp team members. “The only way we can communicate to customers, stakeholders, and the rest of the organization is digitally. We went from seeing hundreds of projects created each week to thousands because of the rapid shift to remote work and the sheer amount of digital content being created.”

Over the past year, MarkUp has seen:

  • 900% user growth

  • 828%+ total projects created

  • 275% companies with at least 3 users

MarkUp’s early growth was attributable to web designers and developers, both large and small, who needed faster ways to collaborate on websites with clients. While this segment still represents 40% of MarkUp’s growing user base, a surge in adoption from SMBs and Enterprise companies had a major impact on user growth since March.
