“These W³ Award wins further emphasize how StarMeUp is on the cutting edge of transforming organizational culture,” said Guibert Englebienne, Globant CTO and co-founder. “For organizations that have employees across cities and even continents, it’s crucial to have a way to build a unified culture, connect the workforce and foster collaboration in innovative ways. StarMeUp creates a way to digitize employee interactions within the organization to enable a cohesive organizational culture no matter where an employee is based.”

Since its launch, the SMU app has expanded to include a full operating suite, StarMeUp OS, that includes other applications aimed to humanize organizations with technology, by strengthening internal culture, professional growth and company health. Additional applications within the suite, such as BetterMe and BeThere, enable employees to provide candid, private performance feedback, or share pictures of important events and special moments in a media stream. The expansion of SMU has further equipped organizations to better support employees and strengthen the fabric of company culture.

“We’re humbled and thrilled to receive this recognition on a global stage,” added Englebienne. “Our team at Globant set out to create an application that would add direct value to an organization through an inventive idea, and it’s exciting to see that effort recognized. But most of all, it’s rewarding to see StarMeUp enact actual change within the organizations that use it. We’re excited to continue to build out these offerings and set our organization, as well as our clients’ organizations, up for success.”
