InCloudCounsel Announces Appointment of Mike Paulus to Board Of Directors
InCloudCounsel, the global leader in Contract Automation and Intelligence, announced the appointment of Mike Paulus to its board of directors, where he will join Chelsea Stoner of Battery Ventures, and members of InCloudCounsel’s executive team, Troy Pospisil (CEO), Ben Levi (COO), Lane Lillquist (CTO), and Jeff Bohl (CFO). Mike was most recently the founder and CEO of Assurance IQ, an insurance technology company which was acquired by Prudential in 2019. Previously, Mike was a Partner at Andreessen Horowitz and the President and co-founder of Addepar, a wealth management software company.
“Mike is one of the most successful entrepreneurs in the software industry and brings a unique perspective to building and scaling world class technology products in complex markets,” said Troy Pospisil, founder and CEO of InCloudCounsel. “Mike joins us during an especially exciting time. We are rapidly growing across all parts of our business and are now delivering a global solution to our enterprise customers from offices in North America, Europe, and Asia. We also recently launched Insight, the first purpose-built SaaS solution for managing obligations in complex agreements. Mike’s support and insights will be invaluable as we continue to scale.”
“I have seen first hand how much companies are struggling to keep up with their high-volume, routine contracts, and wasting too much time and money in the process. Additionally, companies don’t have good tools to track and manage their commitments in their most important contracts,” said Mike Paulus. “InCloudCounsel has built a cost-effective, high-quality solution to automate high-volume contracting, along with a unique set of tools to turn agreements into structured, usable data. I’m excited to partner with their team to continue solving these problems and building a world class, game-changing technology platform.”
