InRule Technology Continues Rapid Growth with Acquisition of Digital Process Automation Software Provider Barium AB
InRule Technology, provider of the leading decision platform for automating mission-critical business decisions, announced the acquisition of Sweden-based Barium AB, a provider of digital process automation (DPA) SaaS solutions. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
The Barium Live DPA platform automates a wide variety of enterprise processes, from case management and loan origination to order fulfillment, inventory management, customer and employee onboarding, and more. By allowing subject matter experts to create user-friendly business applications that automate business processes and improve the way work gets done, Barium Live brings efficiency, consistency, and transparency to manual and time-consuming processes.

By augmenting the InRule Decision Platform with Barium’s low-code DPA platform, enterprises can utilize a single platform that pairs the power of AI, including automated decisions and explainable machine learning, with digital process automation.
The combined solution will enable organizations to deliver more dynamic, reliable, seamless user experiences that delight customers and improve business outcomes today, while providing scalability and flexibility to meet the business challenges of tomorrow.
Barium represents InRule’s second add-on acquisition this year. InRule’s majority investor, OpenGate Capital, has backed the company since 2019.
