Nordic SaaS Collaboration Set to Challenge Core Banking Providers

Dploy, from Norwegian digital consultancy company Knowit, has teamed up with Mambu to deliver a cloud banking platform that will compete with established providers in the Nordics. The new platform will offer complete services in banking and finance, helping Dploy and Mambu become regional leaders in financial technology and enhance user experiences. It will be able to support traditional financial institutions and digital challengers alike, along with fintechs, retailers, telcos and more.
With its cloud-native platform, Mambu’s leading global platform services over 49 million daily end users and over 200 banks and financial institutions globally as customers. Having been active in the region since 2016, many customers are from Nordic countries and include companies such as FixuraFolkefinans AS, kompasbank and P.F.C.
One of the most common and serious challenges with today’s core banking platforms is that banks are locked in a monolithic or legacy environment. This makes them unadaptable when the market demands new and user-friendly solutions.
