Ve Global Strengthens Senior Marketing Team Following $4.25 Million USD Funding Boost

Ve Global, the leading ecommerce tech provider, has appointed Nick Roberts as Marketing Director as it looks to boost its commercial growth following a $4.25 Million USD funding boost from existing investors in November last year.

With over eight years’ experience driving high-growth demand generation programmes and marketing plans, Nick joins Ve Global from crowd testing company Global App Testing, where he led the marketing team for over four years building acquisition and brand awareness and delivering revenue for the business’ SaaS solution. Prior to this, Nick was the Senior Marketing Manager at DefenseStorm, where he was responsible for all aspects of inbound marketing, as well as developing customer, product, and event marketing campaigns.

Also joining the team is former WhosOnLocation Product Marketing Manager Rhian Greener, who will take up the same role at Ve Global later this month. Before pivoting to product marketing, Rhian spent over four years in creative copywriting for AnalogFolk, where she wrote editorial content for brands including Sainsbury’s, Costa Coffee and Booking.com.

The latest in over 30 new hires since October 2020, Nick and Rhian join the business in a period of significant transformation. Driven by CEO Jack Wearne, Ve Global is looking to a future defined by year-on-year growth. Having targeted over 300 new customers by 2022, the company is seeking to double its revenue to $35.45 Million USD, a first step in its long-term plan to become a $141.71 Million USDARR business. The company’s newly strengthened marketing team will play a central role in pursuing that goal.
