AlertMedia, the leading provider of risk intelligence and response solutions, announced four executive leadership promotions. Alex Vaccaro, formerly Chief Marketing Officer, has been named the company’s first President, reporting to CEO Christopher Kenessey. As President, Vaccaro will lead strategic initiatives, including AlertMedia’s AI strategy, as the company continues releasing AI native products and embedding AI across its platform and operations. The company also appointed Eric Curwin as the company’s first Chief AI Officer, where he will work closely with Vaccaro on AI strategy and lead AI design and development across the platform and business. Additionally, Stuart Gray has been promoted to Chief Customer Officer and John Yarbrough to Chief Marketing Officer, with both joining the executive leadership team.

The expansion of AlertMedia’s leadership team positions the company to continue accelerating its pace of innovation as it brings new offerings to market.

“These leaders have built the foundation for AlertMedia’s next chapter, and their promotions reflect both individual impact and the strategic priorities that will define the company’s future,” said Christopher Kenessey, CEO at AlertMedia. “As we continue investing aggressively in new capabilities designed to mitigate organizational risks, deepen our partnership with more than 3,500 customers who trust us to support mission-critical workflows, and expand our global footprint, Alex, Eric, Stuart, and John are the right leaders to help execute and achieve our long-term vision.”

Today’s enterprise risk environment is driven by escalating geopolitical instability, intensifying weather events, and the growing operational complexity of global, distributed workforces. Simultaneously, AI provides organizations with opportunities to transform how they detect threats, communicate with employees, and coordinate incident response efforts with greater speed and accuracy.

AlertMedia’s Risk Intelligence and Response platform helps organizations navigate this increasingly volatile threat environment by bringing the entire risk management lifecycle into a single, unified operating system purpose-built for security and resilience teams. Since 2020, AlertMedia has embedded AI across its platform, pioneering the first AI-powered assistant in its category and in 2025 launching AI-native, agentic capabilities—including Real-Time Signals and Social Intelligence—that help organizations detect early risk signals across the digital landscape.

AlertMedia’s leadership team additions position the company to continue accelerating its pace of innovation as it brings new offerings to market that help customers reduce alerting noise, speed time-to-detection, and reach affected employees faster during time-sensitive incidents.

Promotions announced:

  • Alex Vaccaro, President. Vaccaro joined AlertMedia eight years ago, most recently serving as Chief Marketing Officer. She has been a principal architect of the go-to-market strategy that grew the company from an early-stage startup into a market leader with well over $100 million in ARR serving more than 3,500 organizations across 150+ countries. In her expanded role as President, Vaccaro will continue to support Marketing and Revenue Operations while taking on broader responsibility for AI strategy and company-wide strategic initiatives.
  • Eric Curwin, Chief AI Officer. Formerly VP of Data & AI, Curwin’s appointment as AlertMedia’s first Chief AI Officer marks a significant step in the company’s commitment to AI innovation across both its product portfolio and its internal operations. As Chief AI Officer, Curwin will set the architectural standards and security governance for AI systems across the platform, partner with product, engineering, and business function leaders to accelerate the responsible adoption of AI capabilities—spanning product AI, the enterprise data platform that supports advanced AI use cases, and AI-driven automation across the business.
  • Stuart Gray, Chief Customer Officer. Formerly SVP of Customer Experience, Gray will lead AlertMedia’s global customer organization, spanning Customer Success, Customer Support, and Renewals, with responsibility for ensuring customers realize the full value of the AlertMedia platform across every stage of their lifecycle.
  • John Yarbrough, Chief Marketing Officer. Formerly SVP of Corporate Marketing, Yarbrough will lead AlertMedia’s global marketing organization, spanning brand, demand generation, content, creative, web, communications, and product marketing, with responsibility for fueling continued growth both domestically and internationally.

“AlertMedia exists to help organizations keep their people safe. Every investment we make in our platform and across our organization is in service of that mission,” said Vaccaro. “Over the past year, we’ve introduced three new products, including real-time, AI-powered early risk signals as well as unique, agentic capabilities designed to help organizations identify and monitor acute threats to their executives and brands. I’m energized to continue accelerating the rate at which we bring new capabilities to market and ensuring they translate to real impact for the thousands of organizations that rely on us.”
