Partnership Enables Government Agencies to Replace Legacy Solutions That Leave Data Vulnerable to Foreign Security Attacks

Appsian, the leading provider of ERP security solutions, announced a partnership with Carahsoft Technology Corp., The Trusted Government IT Solutions Provider®. Under the agreement, Carahsoft will serve as Appsian’s public sector distributor, making the company’s data security solutions available to Federal agencies through Carahsoft’s NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) V contract and, National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO) ValuePoint cooperative purchasing contract and reseller partners.

Appsian’s ERP data security solutions enable Carahsoft government customers to control and protect sensitive data from increasingly sophisticated foreign threats.

“Government organizations are struggling with insecure, legacy solutions that are unable to protect sensitive ERP data from increasingly sophisticated threats from foreign actors,” says Appsian CEO Piyush Pandey. “This new partnership with Carahsoft enables Appsian to share expertise with Federal agencies, who may not currently have access to the solutions needed to enable their security teams to increase control over access to sensitive data and to mitigate challenges themselves.”

The partnership builds on Appsian’s strong record of serving government organizations, including more than 200 current customers on the Federal level. Appsian’s ERP security platform provides organizations with enhanced data access controls and user activity monitoring, which allows users to proactively guard against unauthorized access to sensitive data in real-time. Additionally, organizations can establish policies based on specific data elements by utilizing Appsian’s user behavior analytics. These combined capabilities allow government organizations to rapidly adapt to the diverse range of attacks from around the globe.
