German Development Agency Chooses BlackBerry for Emergency Management Solution

BlackBerry Limited announced that the German Development Agency, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH, has chosen BlackBerry AtHoc as its emergency mass notification system.

GIZ works on behalf of the German government, European Union institutions, the United Nations, the private sector and governments of other countries, in various areas of sustainable development, including peace and security.  GIZ is one of the world’s largest development agencies, with over 20,000 employees across more than 120 countries.  BlackBerry AtHoc will be introduced to all GIZ employees.
