HYPR Announces New Leadership Appointments Following Accelerated YOY Growth
Company continues to eliminate passwords and shared secrets across the enterprise and midmarket with millions of users adopting passwordless MFA, tracking for double revenue growth in 2021
HYPR, The Passwordless Company, a leading passwordless multi-factor authentication (MFA) provider, announced key appointments to its executive team with Bojan Simic officially named Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Roman Kadinsky appointed President and Chief Operating Officer (COO). HYPR also welcomes Jay Roxe as the company’s first Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).
These leadership appointments represent HYPR’s recent accelerated growth, and its increased focus on innovation, expanded product delivery, and overall commitment to bringing passwordless MFA to internet scale. Following the height of the pandemic and the sustained increase in remote work, HYPR saw 200 percent YOY growth. Now, in the third quarter of 2021 alone, HYPR closed the highest number of customers to date, adding industry leading enterprises and small-to-medium businesses across various industries, including finance & banking, insurance, hospitality and retail.
“From the beginning, Bojan and Roman have been key in not only building financial stability for HYPR, but also in defining its core principles. Their extensive knowledge of technology and their understanding of the market, as well as the needs of HYPR’s current and prospective customers, make them both well-positioned to lead the company through the next stage of its imminent evolution,” said Nicholas M. Donofrio, Lead Independent Director at HYPR.
Newly appointed CMO Jay Roxe joins HYPR from BitSight, the leader in cybersecurity ratings, where he was influential in expanding the cybersecurity ratings category and driving company growth which helped generate BitSight’s recent $2.4 billion valuation. Prior to BitSight, Roxe served as Vice President of Product Marketing, Adoption and Operations at healthcare IT firm athenahealth. In this new role as CMO at HYPR, Roxe will oversee global marketing, brand initiatives and results driven, go-to market execution. His responsibilities will cover brand and product marketing, strategic communications, and span across all areas of customer-centricity.
“Jay is a category-builder CMO with a wealth of experience in cloud, development and product marketing, and we’re thrilled to be able to leverage his knowledge and expertise as we continue to define our brand and cement our market position,” said Bojan Simic, Cofounder, CEO and CTO of HYPR. “We have propelled the company forward over the last few years, and now is the time to capitalize on this solid foundation and really accelerate our marketing strategy to move the needle on passwordless authentication as the new multi-factor.”
