Johnson Controls Acquires EuroPAC

Acquisition Will Allow Johnson Controls to Expand its Reach in Monitoring and Telephone Services in the Benelux

Johnson Controls, a global leader in smart building technology and solutions announced that it closed an agreement to purchase EuroPAC Alarmcentrale and EuroPAC Telefooncentrale businesses. Based in The Netherlands, EuroPAC has operations in Benelux.

The acquisition will strengthen the company’s position in the residential/commercial monitoring industry in the Benelux region by broadening offerings to include video, tracking services and third party call center service, whilst strengthening our Video as a Service (VaaS) capabilities.

Johnson Controls has more than 40 years expertise of alarm monitoring services in the Benelux and has driven building innovation for 130 years. The Johnson Controls Private Alarm Centers are recognized by the Ministry of Justice and provides services in the field of electronic alarms, video observation & surveillance and alarm follow-up.

EuroPAC employs over forty people at a state-of-the-art monitoring center in Oss, the Netherlands, where they provide 24/7 monitoring and telephone services to both business and residential customers. EuroPAC, which has an extensive partner and alarm-installer network, will continue to operate under its own identity and brand name and to be led by their General Manager Will Spoor.
