Lucid Announces Pauline Wen as General Counsel, CPO and Corporate Secretary

Lucid, the leading research technology platform, announced Pauline Wen as its General Counsel, Chief Privacy Officer and Corporate Secretary. Wen will will lead Lucid’s legal efforts, including privacy and cybersecurity, transactions, compliance, and risk management processes. With more than 20 years of experience working closely with business and technology stakeholders, Wen’s contributions to Lucid will be invaluable.

In her role, Wen will oversee Lucid’s legal operations and team, both domestically and internationally, with a focus on the proactive execution of policies, practices and decisions. With her broad expertise in legal matters – within the commercial, corporate, and digital space – Wen will serve as an advisor to Lucid’s management teams and key business stakeholders.

With her decades-long career, Wen has expertise in a number of areas including data privacy, cybersecurity governance, commercial transactions, technology, digital media, and more. Before joining Lucid, she was the Senior Vice President and Chief Privacy Officer for 21st Century Fox, Inc.

Prior to her time at 21st Century Fox, Wen was Senior Vice President, Chief Privacy Counsel for Viacom Media Networks, a division of Viacom International Inc., responsible for data privacy for VMN and its brands, such as MTV and Comedy Central. She also specialized in digital media law at VMN, negotiating deals and providing related advice in a variety of areas in the digital space, such as advertising technology, operations and sales.
