Open Source Security Platform OPNsense Releases Version 22.7 Nicknamed “Powerful Panther”

Deciso announces the immediate availability of OPNsense 22.7 named “Powerful Panther.”

The Powerful Panther marks the 210th release and the 16th major release of the popular open source firewall and security platform.

Since 2015 the project hosts the fastest growing open source firewall community worldwide, with almost 25000 forum members and over 200 source code contributors.

The latest release is based upon FreeBSD 13.1 that, again, offers lots of improvements and performance enhancements. Even more exciting than the updated OS is the long list of new features and enhancements that this release introduces.
