QuSecure’s industry-leading post-quantum cybersecurity solution wins Army’s xTechSearch 6 competition for innovative technology and ability to tackle Army’s most critical current needs
The xTechSearch 6 competition highlighted opportunities for small businesses to collaborate with the Army to tackle the most critical Army modernization challenges. QuSecure earned this prestigious and highly competitive award based on scoring criteria including Addressing Army Capability Gaps, Potential for Impact/Revolutionizing the Army, Technology and Concept Viability, Dual-Use, and Army Transition Plan.
The xTechSearch competition was launched to revolutionize the way the Army attracts and encourages innovation. The competition engages the non-defense business sector and startup technology companies with the Army Science and Technology (S&T) ecosystem to leverage cutting edge technologies. xTechSearch attracts novel, disruptive concepts and technology solutions with dual-use capabilities that can assist in tackling the Army’s current needs as applied to current Army concepts. The intent is to provide the Army with transformative technology solutions while enabling cost savings throughout the Army systems’ life cycle.
“The accolades keep rolling in for QuSecure, particularly in the Federal segment,” said Pete Ford, QuSecure Head of Federal Operations. “We are thrilled to win the xTechSearch 6 competition and be recognized as a transformative technology solution for the Army. Our QuProtect solution will enable the Army and other organizations to protect their encrypted data and secure private information, as the industry accelerates toward a quantum future. QuProtect uniquely combines QuSecure’s broad-based quantum and post-quantum technologies providing secure, interoperable cybersecurity to protect networks from today’s classical threats and future quantum threats.”
QuProtect enables organizations to leverage quantum resilient technology for the first time to help prevent today’s cyberattacks, while future-proofing networks and preparing for post-quantum cyberthreats. It provides quantum-resilient cryptography, anytime, anywhere and on any device. QuProtect uses an end-to-end quantum-security-as-a-service (QSaaS) architecture that addresses the digital ecosystem’s most vulnerable aspects, uniquely combining zero-trust, next-generation post-quantum-cryptography, quantum-strength keys, high availability, easy deployment, and active defense into a comprehensive and interoperable cybersecurity suite. The end-to-end approach is designed around the entire data lifecycle as data is stored, communicated and used.

The xTechSearch competition is an opportunity for eligible participants to pitch novel technology solutions – either new applications for an existing technology or a newly developed technology concept – to the Army. The xTechSearch competition strives to integrate small businesses into the Army’s Science and Technology (S&T) ecosystem by providing research opportunities with Army labs, including authorized access to the Army’s organic intellectual and technical capital. The xTechSearch 6 competition winners received cash awards to further develop their technology and invitation to a SBIR designation. This allows winners to demonstrate proof-of-concept of their dual-use technologies pertaining to Army challenges.
QuProtect is the industry’s most advanced PQC solution providing quantum-resilience for many of today’s critical use cases, including network, IoT, edge devices and even satellite communications. QuProtect can be hosted on-premise or via the cloud delivering the most compatible solution to the post-quantum problem, solving today’s complex compliance challenges, such as bring-your-own-device (BYOD) and work-from-home policies. An organization can implement PQC across all devices on the network with minimal disruption to existing systems, protecting against current classical and future quantum attacks which could irreparably disrupt industries and infrastructures across government and commercial sectors.
