Symantec Positioned as a Leader in Gartner Magic Quadrant for Endpoint Protection Platforms

Position Based on Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute

Symantec Corp., the world’s leading cyber security company, announced Symantec has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the Leaders quadrant of the 2019 “Magic Quadrant for Endpoint Protection Platforms.”

“Security and risk management leaders responsible for endpoint protection are placing a premium on detection capabilities for advanced fileless threats and investigation and remediation capabilities.”

Since 2002, Symantec has been positioned in the Leaders quadrant in every Gartner Magic Quadrant for Endpoint Protection Platforms report published. For the 2019 report, Symantec was evaluated amongst 19 other vendors on 15 criteria points based on completeness of vision and ability to execute.
