AI-Powered Bhashini Offers 22 Language Conversational Payments With NPCI
What Is AI-Powered Bhashini?
Narendra Modi, the prime minister of India, introduced Bhashini in July. Before that, a strategy workshop for the AI-powered translation platform was chaired by Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology Rajeev Chandrasekhar and attended by entrepreneurs.
Bhashini is a subset of the National Language Translation Mission that was proposed in this year’s budget. Its goal is to build government websites of the future so that everyone, regardless of where they live or what language they speak, may utilize them.
The NPCI is working to boost the usage of digital payments in the nation, and the integration of Bhashini is a part of that endeavor. The NPCI already enables services including UPI Payment, Bharat Bill Pay, RuPay Cards, and FASTag.
Note that the NPCI, in conjunction with Bhashini, just released its conversational payments facility Hello! UPI.
