Low unemployment and high labor participation have created significant challenges for HR teams and recruiters; HCM vendors have stepped up with enhanced functionality and a strong focus on user experience. Candidate drop off and high turnover rates are pressing issues for many industries, and the current state of the labor market has only added to the sense of urgency that HR teams and recruiters face. Leveraging capabilities that boost engagement, such as on-demand pay and learning, as well as enhancing longstanding modules to be more user-friendly, is critical to helping organizations attract and retain preferred candidates.
“The millennial workforce has come to expect a consumerized user experience throughout their employee lifecycle,” says Ian Campbell, CEO of Nucleus Research. “Leading HCM vendors recognize this, and provide enhancements such as customizable interfaces and feedback tools to stay ahead of market trends and maintain high usability and functionality.”
