Anodot’s New Patents Ensure Fast and Accurate Autonomous Analytics for Better Data-Driven Insights
Anodot, the autonomous analytics company, today announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has granted the company two patents, recognizing the core underlying innovations that make Anodot the leader of autonomous analytics.
The new patents build on Anodot’s success in helping top enterprises all over the world leverage machine learning based anomaly detection to achieve more predictable results. By swiftly pinpointing the scope and source of problems within massive amounts of data, Anodot’s patented algorithms deliver faster-time-to detection and root cause analyses than traditional BI tools and dashboards.

System and Method for Transforming Observed Metrics into Detected and Scored Anomalies,” (U.S. Patent 20160147583A1) makes it possible to identify and analyze anomalies by comparing them to past anomalies and to determine their level of sensitivity. Rather than relying on statistical analysis of potential issues like traditional BI tools, Anodot trains its machine learning algorithms based on perception and captures data insights through human behavior.
“By leveraging machine learning and artificial intelligence capabilities, we’re able to tap into human perception and identify business incidents that other BI tools would never find, giving our customers the cutting edge they need,” said Dr. Ira Cohen, Anodot’s co-founder and Chief Data Scientist.

Fast automated detection of seasonal patterns in time series data without prior knowledge of seasonal periodicity,” (US Patent 10061677B2) identifies seasonal trends and detects issues in weekly and daily patterns for the faster and more accurate detection of business incidents. With this patented technology, Anodot’s autonomous analytics alerts customers about issues in real time and delivers accurate analysis.
Anodot’s pending patent, “Heuristic Inference of Topological Representation of Metric Relationships,” (US20160210556A1) investigates root causes and alerts customers immediately. With this technology, Anodot can detect business incidents in real time, avoid false positives and minimize impact on customer ROI. Unlike other methods used by traditional BI tools, Anodot’s AI/ML provides correlations between different time series data, evaluating each individual metric faster than a human can.
“Anodot’s patented technology signifies that the company is a leader and driver in the autonomous analytics space,” said Amit Levi, Anodot’s VP, Head of Product. “We will continue to invest in developing new innovative technologies that ensure that our customers fully utilize their data to make better and more timely business decisions.”
