KPA EHS Software Enhancements Focus on Greater Data Reporting Configurability
KPA, a workplace safety and compliance company, announced a KPA EHS software platform enhancement that features a configurable safety data reporting system and accompanying dashboards. With this new capability, KPA EHS software users will be able to create dashboards that give a complete and accurate picture of what is happening in their organization and improve their ability to monitor, analyze, and t********** to reduce the risk of safety incidents.
“Safety professionals need a complete and real-time picture of what is happening in their organization,” commented Jade Brainard, Product Director. “KPA software’s configurable reports and dashboards are completely determined by the user, which results in analytics and reporting that maps to the specific needs of each organization.”

Greater Data Configurability Tailored to a Business’ Unique Needs
These new features simplify data visualization. Users can create dashboards from several available data sources in the system. Dashboards can include snapshots of training compliance, open tasks, total incidents by location or department, viewed in chart types determined by the user, segmented by dates, software permission levels, locations, etc. Each dashboard can be exported for executive level summaries and reports that are easy to share across an organization.
“With easy-to-use reporting that’s driven by the Safety Manager, KPA clients have easy access to real-time data that will better inform their workplace safety decisions and improve their safety program’s overall performance,” commented Brainard.

Better Reporting and Analytics Improves Overall Safety Performance
This latest KPA software enhancement is driven by the need to provide customers with increased flexibility so that users can implement ongoing safety program improvements with data-driven decision-making. These dashboards complement the pre-existing capabilities within the KPA software platform, including OSHA case management logs, TRIR and DART reporting, incident reports, and more.
Additionally, this latest release leverages an earlier update to the workflow capability within the software to automate common EHS processes, like incident reporting and investigations. With each step, responsible party, deadlines, and actions are assigned, and actions can incorporate notes, required signatures, attachments, or reassigning or stopping the workflow. The data from those workflows can then be pulled into a report or dashboard so users will be able to streamline the implementation of corrective and preventive actions and have a better view into the leading indicators which show where potential problems could arise.
