Hypersonix Expands Leadership Team Naming Kumar Srivastava Head of Engineering and Technology
The newest addition to Hypersonix will spearhead all aspects of the company’s product development, implementation, and execution strategies.
Hypersonix, the leading enterprise AI platform for consumer commerce industries, announced the appointment of Kumar Srivastava as head of engineering and technology. In his new role, Kumar will lead Hypersonix’s product and development teams as the company looks to expand its growing footprint within the retail, restaurant, hospitality, convenience, financial services, consumer packaged goods, and manufacturing industries.
With almost two decades of technology industry experience at both established enterprises and nimble start-ups, Kumar has a proven track record of overseeing the management, development, and deployment of products, spanning artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, financial services, and more. At Hypersonix, Kumar will be focused on leading the development team to roll out new offerings while overseeing the implementation of on-going improvements to existing products. He will also work closely with the leaders of other key business units, including sales, marketing and finance, to ensure Hypersonix’s product strategy aligns with the company’s overall mission of bringing a greater level of actionable intelligence to today’s consumer commerce decision-makers.

Most recently, Kumar held the position of vice president of engineering at Noodle.ai where he oversaw engineering, information security, artificial intelligence solutions, customer success, and technical program management. Prior to his role at Noodle.ai, Kumar held multiple leadership roles at established organizations, like Microsoft and BNY Mellon, and innovative and emerging brands, such as Clicked, Inmusik, ClearStory Data, and Apigee. He is a board member of the Cyber Security Advisory Board at California State University, Chico, and the founder of the AI University. Kumar is also an avid contributor to various technology and business publications, including TechCrunch, CIO.com, and Entrepreneur. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics as well as his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, and Mathematics from The University of Massachusetts Amherst. He also holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Columbia University.
