Intellias and HERE Celebrate Five Years of Partnership in 2020
Over the years, this engineering hub has delivered dozens of major software releases for customers in automotive, transportation, mobility, and other industries
HERE Technologies, a global leader in location data and digital mapping services, and Intellias, a leading provider of software engineering services in Central and Eastern Europe, celebrate five years of successful partnership and announce plans for future cooperation.
In 2015, Intellias began working with HERE to set up outsourced engineering capabilities in the Central and Eastern European region. What started as a small team of experts focused on map compilation, has grown into a large engineering location for HERE. Over the years, this engineering hub has delivered dozens of major software releases for customers in automotive, transportation, mobility, and other industries.
“Our partnership with Intellias is a key component to our success. With Intellias, we scale our engineering capacity in a flexible manner. Our partnership has grown even stronger in the last couple of months as we try to mitigate the impacts of COVID-19 together. Over the past five years we have successfully built and delivered navigation and location solutions that are used by millions of drivers, consumers and workers. I am looking forward to building on our successes in the years to come,” said Jorgen Behrens, Chief Product Officer at HERE Technologies.
Currently, Intellias is working with HERE on several automotive and LBS programs. Services and solutions produced during this partnership are being consumed across the globe: from the EU and North America to China and Japan.

“Over the years, we’ve seen our relationship with HERE evolve into the strategic partnership that it is today. It started as a rather simple project related to map compilation and has grown to cover the most advanced areas of modern technology such as autonomous driving and blockchain. We feel the level of trust from HERE, and I am confident we will see even more opportunities in the future to create location-based technology that will have a major impact on industries globally,” said Vitaly Sedler, CEO at Intellias.
Within this partnership, the two companies build on the synergy from the existing customer relationships, partner ecosystem, and the deep expertise in multiple domains to address market challenges. HERE Technologies and Intellias allow end customers to accelerate their business and generate new opportunities to stay ahead of the competition.
