Augmented Reality Pioneer Augmedics Announces New Board Leadership
Augmedics, a pioneer in augmented reality surgical image guidance, announced the appointment of Rick Anderson as executive chairman of the board and Bradley Paddock as the board’s independent director. Anderson joined the board in March upon the closing of Augmedics’ over-subscribed $36 million Series C funding, followed by Paddock in May. Both will begin their new roles effective immediately.

Anderson brings more than three decades of experience as an executive, investor, and board member for emerging growth and market-leading healthcare companies. He is the chairman of Revival Healthcare Capital, an Austin-based private equity firm that specializes in medical devices and diagnostics. Prior to founding Revival, Anderson held multiple senior executive leadership positions, including chairman of the board and CEO of ConvaTec Plc, a FTSE 250 Company; worldwide franchise chairman, Cordis Corporation; and company group chairman, Johnson & Johnson.

Paddock is a veteran medical device executive with over 25 years of experience. He currently serves as president & CEO of CeQur SA, a medical device company specializing in insulin delivery systems, and has served in executive leadership roles for multiple global health leaders including global president of spine at Stryker, vice president of global sales & marketing at Bausch + Lomb, and vice president of sales and Kyphon. Paddock brings extensive expertise in acquisitions, integrations, and synergistic cost saving methods.
