Zebra Pen Launches Augmented Reality Consumer Experience

Zebra Pen Corp., a global leader in the writing and creative instrument space, is excited to heighten the consumer experience with its brand by introducing an augmented reality experience connecting them with Zebra’s animated spokesperson, Zen.

The augmented reality interface can be accessed via a QR Code found on the back of select Zebra Pen packages, which, when scanned, will open consumers up to a new and unique interface. Upon scanning the code, users will enter a portal where Zen will serve as their guide as they navigate their way on their path to self-expression.

Engaged consumers can learn more about Zebra Pen products, learn new ways to utilize products for self-expression, or even put themselves in the Serengeti where they can grab/share a selfie with Zen. Each experience provides a new opportunity to engage with Zen, the company’s experienced guide to products and product applications.

“Zebra Pen prides itself on product innovation; however, technology allows us to expand our innovative spirit into new consumer-driven areas. Augmented Reality fits wonderfully with our spokes-animal and is another way to bring him to life and heighten the consumer experience with our brand,” stated Ken Newman, Director of Marketing.

Look for the QR Codes to begin rolling out starting in June and continuing to roll out as Zebra approaches its historic 40th Anniversary in the U.S., where Augmented Reality will serve to join in the celebration.
