APIS Partners With Horizen to Utilize Zendoo Technology

APIS will build a blockchain on Horizen to enhance transparency and security of APIS platform’s product participation data and bring APISwap capabilities to Horizen’s ecosystem

Today Horizen, a technology platform enabling businesses and developers to create their own public or private blockchains, has announced a partnership with APIS. Through the partnership, Horizen and APIS will explore ways in which APIS can utilize Zendoo, Horizen’s sidechain technology, to improve and expand APIS Platform’s product and service offering.

APIS, a blockchain-based platform that currently provides a working service for effective node management, will first launch a blockchain using Zendoo to record and archive the APIS platform’s product participation data, creating an additional layer of transparency and security to the platform and enabling further decentralization.

“Horizen has a massive blockchain ecosystem and a very solid technological base. Establishing this partnership is based on forging a long term relationship in which we envision to work on many follow-up projects together,” said Ronny Yoo, APIS chief executive officer. “We expect that their unique technology and massive community will help us create synergies with various services of the APIS team through this partnership.”

Zendoo, Horizen’s sidechain and scaling solution, is the first completely decentralized and fully customizable sidechain protocol on the market. The Zendoo platform will allow APIS to affordably and quickly create real-world blockchain applications on Horizen’s fully distributed, secure, and privacy-preserving architecture.

“Horizen boasts a network of more than 40,000 nodes – more than Bitcoin and Ethereum combined. Our partnership with APIS, which provides accessible node services and lowers barriers for users into the crypto-economy, is aligned with our vision for the future,” said Rob Viglione, co-founder of Horizen. “Horizen’s partnership with APIS will provide use cases with added value to demonstrate APIS Platform’s push towards greater transparency and decentralization, and showcase Horizen’s sidechain technology.”

APIS will also work alongside Horizen to explore building a decentralized exchange called APISwap, and other DeFi applications, using the Zendoo protocol.
